Recycling Children’s Programme

Letter R for Recycling Mark Making-The Children went with Gavin to see what items were recycled outside in the recycling bins and a cardboard was chosen to bring back inside as a base to do some mark making with some old tissue paper. The children enjoyed rolling the tissue paper into balls but Yusuf didn’t do so well in trying to create the letter R himself. He was more interested in going to play in the kitchen area.

Maths-The Children took turns counting the rubbish in the recycling bin. Yusuf did well with his counting, but seemed to skip some numbers.

Free Play-In the kitchen areas and small world area, Yusuf particularly enjoyed cleaning with the mop. He walked around saying ‘i’m cleaning up, i’m cleaning up’.

Please bring in a pack of nappies for Yusuf next week with his wipes so that you don’t have to bring a few nappies each time he comes.
