Gastro chips with olives and ketchup (the quorn nuggets have egg white in it).

Activities

Kara has been a pleasure to have today. At first she seemed a bit shy which was normal especially for her first day, but after breakfast she livened up singing during nursery rhyme time. She took part in 2022 mindfulness colouring and during free play and games she played with the alphabet puzzle, musical instruments (drums), cleaning set and spent quite a bit of time cooking different meals for me- one which was sausages and cake which she said mummy and daddy make for her at home and she had fun playing with the sand and sliding down the slide.
Kara mainly played independently today but she seemed very happy and chatty and she was open to play with the other children when they interacted with her.

Sleep / resting

Kara didn’t sleep but she laid down nicely and sung quietly between 1 & 3pm.

Toileting

2 wet pull ups, Kara sat on the potty this afternoon but she didn’t go toilet. She was happy to see her own handwash in the bathroom, she said mummy brought my handwash with a huge smile on her face.

Comments

The Quorn nuggets that was for dinner with chips had egg white in the ingredients so she had olives as substitute. She said that she likes sausages so I will get some veg ones.
