Dairy - Mimi

Nursery Rhyme Time

This morning Mimi was upset for a while, we tried to speak to her and play with her but nothing made a difference so we thought maybe if we left her she would eventually  stop crying and join in with play after a while. Mimi didn’t join in with free play, she climbed onto the sofa her favourite spot and then she seemed happy and started singing. We are still trying to work on this as Mimi was getting on well with starting to interact with others but we have noticed her going backwards socially and we aren’t too sure why.

This afternoon for Science the children created their own family sensory boxes. They spent time playing with different sensory materials that was on the tuff tray and the items that they wanted to keep they then placed into their boxes which also contains a little photo of themselves. At first Mimi wasn’t impressed with feeling some of the materials but she explored with the materials on the tuff tray.

It would be good to add any sensory favourites that Mimi has at home as well a family photo if possible.
