Dairy - Atlas

Breakfast:

Branflakes Atlas got very messy with breakfast today, evidence on his trousers.

I ate: Some

Lunch:

Fish fingers, seasoned beans and toast

I ate: All

Seasoned white rice with salmon veg stir fry and yogurt

I ate: Most

Apple & Crackers

Activities

Nursery Rhyme Time

Free Play- During Free Play Atlas cooked some food in the kitchen area and watched Child K & Child N do a 60 minute makeover with the units in the kitchen area. Once they noticed him watching, they started hiding behind the units playing hide and seek. Atlas excitedly kept running over to try and find them which was nice to see.

Science- Sink or Float science experiment. Atlas observed very well during the experiment, he kept jumping in the chair shaking his head saying no to the kitchen foods and equipment floating or sinking, but I couldn’t detect what he was saying no to whether it was the items sinking or floating. He seemed to enjoy taking part and watching.

Gardening- The children watched Shane the chef and we discussed different herbs. Atlas danced to the music playing during Shane the chef.
